Kalandahaus beim Weingut Esterházy

Picturesquely located at the Trausdorfer Meierhof, just outside Eisenstadt, the Kalandahaus is a modern and attractive event, culinary and wine center.

“Schalanda” means the servants' room in Slovakian, where there was social life with music, singing and food. Related to “Kalanda”, a medieval brotherhood and sisterhood that maintained shared cultural exchange without class differences. The Kalandahaus stands for fun-loving sharing of culinary, cultural and communal experiences with friends, colleagues and festive groups, in the middle of the beautiful nature of sunny Burgenland.
