Soil type: loose sediment brown earth, partly Rendzina and Ranker
Soil character: loamy sand on top, sandy loam below
Other soil properties: a small, upper part is rather barren; the larger, lower part, on the other hand, is rich in humus and loamy. The loam has a strong, brown colour; the entire soil profile is interspersed with fine and coarse limestone (shell limestone).
