Our Village Wines

Our Village Wines show the diversity of the Leithaberg DAC region. They are modern interpretations of cool-climate wines with character and drinkability. A brown hare and wild goose adorn the labels, which originate from a hunting painting from Forchtenstein Castle. The Adonis rose as a neck and headdress refers to the origin and the region.

The label thus perfectly symbolises our Leithaberg wine-growing region.

The typical soils of the Leitha Mountains, mica schist and "Leithakalk", give the wines density and a unique mineral flavour. The cool nights coupled with the numerous hours of sunshine and the proximity to Lake Neusiedl and the wooded slopes of the Leitha Mountains give the wines a lively freshness.

Our vineyards are located in the municipalities of Sankt Margarethen, Rust, Sankt Georgen, Eisenstadt, Grosshöflein and Oslip. Structure and depth are at the forefront of these wines and clearly show what the respective village stands for.
