Our Regional Wines

We call our Regional Wines ESTORAS, the Latin word for Esterhazy. They are our drinkable business cards with a clear signature. They proudly bear the Order of the Golden Fleece on the label. The inscription „Pretium laborum non vile“, Latin for „no mean reward for labours“, is both a claim and a promise for us. Kein geringer Preis der Arbeit, ist für uns Anspruch und Versprechen zugleich.

The Order of the Golden Fleece is the highest secular order once awarded by the Holy Roman Empire. Count Nikolaus was the first Esterhazy to receive it in 1628. Subsequently, almost all the princes of the house were to wear it.

They are our drinkable business cards with a clear signature. They clearly bear our signature and are characterised by juicy fruit, a good body and a wonderful balance. The varietal character is clearly in the foreground. Some of the wines are matured in larger wooden barrels in order to become more harmonious and complex. The varietal wines are complemented by three expressive cuvées.
